Why are we called be nice?

nice -> be nice

We are a registered association (in German “eingetragener Verein”, e.V.) with the full name network initiative circular economy e.V., or nice for short.

We named our consulting unit “be nice.”

In 2021, during the pandemic, the founders decided to align their professional activities more closely with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. These are one of the most significant agreements ever made by the nations of the world. They comprise 17 sustainability goals from a wide variety of areas.

There are social goals, environmental goals, climate goals, and the goal that we, as a consulting and implementation unit focused on small and medium-sized enterprises, find particularly relevant: Goal No. 12, balancing consumption and production. One of the applications of this idea is to be able to authentically avoid greenwashing with commercially reasonable effort. You can find more information here

Despite all the headwinds facing the topic of “sustainability,” it makes perfect sense in a number of ways, including economically. Just think of energy security or the reduction of supply chain risk through the local reuse of resources.

In many cases, all of this can be achieved through intelligent product, solution, or service design and good communication. We bring all of this together in our strategy consulting and implementation support.
