For me, sales, marketing, and change go hand in hand

My name is Clemens Gutmann, and I lead the consulting firm be nice in Mannheim.

My background lies at the intersection of sales, marketing, digital transformation, and business implementation. I have supported companies in consulting, agency settings, startup phases, leadership roles, and sales-driven growth phases. As a result, I view the market, communication, sales, and organization not as separate disciplines, but as parts of the same reality.

This is precisely what gave rise to my focus on Organization & Change, alongside the areas of Sales & Marketing and Compliance. After all, new market demands, growth targets, digital processes, or repositioning efforts remain effective only if internal factors align: roles, processes, leadership, coordination, and collaboration.

What Shapes My Work

I do not come from a purely methodological background. I also understand the demands of companies from a position of entrepreneurial responsibility, from sales-oriented leadership, and from projects where not only good ideas but also viable implementation were required.

This perspective continues to shape my work to this day:

  • Sales and marketing must be effectively integrated
  • Strategy must be translated into decisions, processes, and communication
  • Change must work internally, not just in presentations
  • The organization must be able to support growth, change, and new requirements

Why companies come to me

Companies bring me in when they are facing or in the midst of a phase where the market, sales, communication, and internal work processes need to be realigned.

This can mean:

  • Translating new market demands into robust processes
  • Defining roles and responsibilities more clearly
  • Improving collaboration between executive management, sales, marketing, and operations
  • Supporting change pragmatically, without buzzwords or consultant jargon

My perspective on organization & change

I do not view organizational development as a parallel world separate from the business. I am interested in the point where change becomes economically relevant: where new goals, new offerings, new processes, or new leadership requirements must be integrated into everyday operations.

That is why I do not follow the standard pattern of analysis, concept, and handover. I support change in a way that transforms strategic direction into concrete operational capability.

Background

My professional journey combines several perspectives: consulting projects, leadership roles in sales management, agency experience, company start-ups, and a previous career as a lawyer. Building on this foundation, I now work with companies that are not just looking for good ideas, but for clear direction, effective implementation, and an organization that grows with them.
